In January 1995 AIACHE and its General Secretary Dr. Mani Jacob, along with their counterparts in other countries played a key role in the formation of a global forum named IFACHE (International Forum of Associations of Christian Higher Education). It brings together in fellowship and common programs 15 organizations of Christian higher education worldwide. The international secretariat of the Forum is located at the Ecumenical House. The Forum seeks to enable the member associations to use higher education as an instrument for building up the solidarity of the human family and promoting peace, justice and integrity of the Creation.

Through the Institute for International Higher Education visiting groups of faculty and students are provided assistance in international education programmes and volunteer services. For further details please see IFACHE website: www.ifache.org
